Optimising Performance
We cover all aspects of routine health care including dentistry. Should your horse require it we also provide state of the art diagnostics on the comfort of your own yard.
ACUPUNCTURE
Acupuncture is a great addition when treating a variety of management conditions, including but not exclusively neck and back issues. It can also be utilised as general maintenance as part of a competition management regime.
DENTISTRY
Dental work is carried out with motorised kit.
RADIOGRAPHY
Digital radiography allows us to carry out x-rays in your horse's own environment and have the ability to read the images as we take them.
ULTRASOUND
Portable ultrasound that can be used without electricity allows us to be able to carry out ultrasound examination of all orthopaedic issues and swellings/ lumps with ease in any setting.
ENDOSCOPY
Endoscopy is used in the main for upper respiratory examination and tracheal washes when required for further diagnostics during respiratory disease.
PRE PURCHASE EXAMINATIONS
We understand that buying a horse, no matter the value is a huge commitment and our clients want to have absolute peace of mind before they purchase a new horse. Comprehensive pre-purchase examinations are available either with or without radiographs and can be tailored to your individual requirements.
LAMENESS AND POOR PERFORMANCE INVESTIGATIONS
Should the need arise we are able to carry out full lameness and poor performance investigation stable side. If you have no facilities available for trotting horses up this can be arranged so please let us know at the time of booking.
EXPORTS
Elise Richardson is a fully certified and experienced OV able to carry out all paperwork required to allow horses to travel world wide. We work closely with all exporting agents, please get in touch as soon as you know you will be travelling so we can prepare your horse and their paperwork in a timely fashion.
EVENT COVER AND VET CARE AT EVENTS
Elise covers a number of events each year so be sure to pop over and say hi if you are out on cross country. For those who may require bespoke veterinary care at three day events this can be arranged where possible in advance. Please get in touch for a chat.
